William Cass was born 1865 in  Mould Royd, Crigglestone, Yorkshire. His mother was called Ann, maiden name unknown.  His father's surname was Cass. Ann was widowed at some point before 1881, so having difficulty tracing family back any further as do not know either parent's full name! Mother Ann was born in 1825/1826 in Frickley, York.

William had at least 2 siblings, John Cass born at Mould Royd in 1858, and Emma Cass born in 1862, again at Mould Royd.

Found this marriage reference but you really need to get William's birth cert to verify Ann's maiden name before we will know if this is correct. Don't know the areas well enough to know if this is a possible match
