Looking for 1939 census to give details of  Beaumont family in Halifax.  Arthur Beaumont b 1903 Halifax, and wife Frances Taylor b 1907 Lincs, and their son Ralph b 1934 .  I have deaths and burials of Arthus and Frances.  Any help please - thank you

If the son is still living he will not appear on there and you will need to remove his name from your post

Yes of course, Ralph is still living.  Will do this (but not sure how!)

Go into modify on both of your posts and remove his name, this has to be done within 24 hours of posting.

If Arthur was in the armed services in ww2 it is possible he will not be entered either.  As you noted it was not a census but the register for issuing ration cards

Looking into this for a great grandson of the family (my grandson!) for a school project.  Speaking to Uncle Ralph this weekend. Isn't this why we continue to look into our family history?  But do thank you for your advice.

If you've tried searching yourself and can't find the parents, and you don't think he would have been called up and serving, have you tried looking for either of their parents if they were still alive , in case they were living in somewhere. Also with that surname it could be a transcription error or with a youngster,  the family may have been evacuated and living elsewhere when the Register was compiled.

Do you have access to the subscription site ancestry as Arthur and France's marriage certificate is on there as part of the West Yorkshire collection. If you don't, perhaps your local library has a subscription to it you could access for free.

Do you have the address on the child/rens’ birth certificates to try searching by that.
I can see the address for the birth announcement of the 1934 child and the Beaumonts are not there in 1939.

wife Frances Taylor b 1907 Lincs

Frances appears to be Frances Mary if this is the correct birth reg

Births June qtr 1907
TAYLOR    Frances Mary     Holbeach    7a   412

There is also this birth

Births June qtr 1906
Taylor    Frances    Gainsbro'    7a   724

Do you have her full birthdate as you can search the 1939 register using those details

11 Woodside Terrace might be a later address.
