The first line says “ Weather fine. Carrying parties etc”

Oh sorry!.
Here is what I can work out. (Note this is a diary record from WW1)
21st - Weather fine. Camping parties etc.
22nd - 2 Corps in MECHANICS & METROCAMP?? ....... by 2 corps from BULLY ???
23rd - Weather fine. Camping parties etc
24th - .............. 2nd ox and Bucks LI in front line ANGRESI. 1 man wounded
25th - Hostile rifle ...... during morning, to which STORES GUN .......
German whizz bang on R Corp. 3 men wounded. German patrol land? opposite R Corp. Our patrols reported sounds of shovelling in German trenches. ......... parties out all night.
26th - Firing positions and bays constructed in PYRENEES and MORROW trenches. Evening very active with rifle .......... and whizz bangs to which ............... with rifle .......... and .......... ........... (trench monitors?) 1 killed 2 wounded.
27th - Evening action with rifle ......... and ..... ..... (trench monitors?). 1 wounded Test ..... ......... at 7pm. ........... very faint during night. ........ ........... parties out all night.
28th - .......... ............ by 2nd Ox - Busks LI. Great artillery activity now?
(I managed to get more than I thought!)

I wonder if that word after Hostile rifle that occurs several times is grenades. I don’t know if that was a term used in that way then or not, I a,ways think of Grenades as being those things you throw.

22nd - 2 Coys in MECHANICS & METRO CAP DE PONT relieved by 2 Coys from BULLY GRENAY.
Coys is an abbreviation for Companies. There were four Companies in a Battalion.
