Title: Martin and Molly Kerrigan, Leenane, Galway
Post by: Anseo on Thursday 01 September 22 23:30 BST (UK)
Dear Photo Magicians,

Our daughter gets married later this month and is putting together a display of ancestral photos. This is one that I haven't seen before - of her paternal second great grandparents, Martin and Molly Kerrigan. A clean-up would be most appreciated. Thank you. Ita

Very nice warmth in the tones.
Two elderly approaching the end of a tough life.
Thank you Japes.

Thank you so much one and all - I am amazed at the detail you have extracted from this battered old photograph. This couple, who eked out an existence on a small plot of unproductive land, had six children survive to adulthood. Their daughter was my husband's Grandmother - she married at 16 and had two children within two years (with others to follow).

They had a hard life in those days didn't they? Here is my restoration for you. I'm afraid the faces aren't restored to the same level as some,  I don't have the Photoshop app, which changes photos around.
