Hello, one of my ancestors was born in the 1930s in Downpatrick. I need help deciphering the Registration District, if anyone can read the handwriting it would be much appreciated thank you!

Try....
Occupant/Occupier
Workhouse
Donaghadee
for lines 2,3,and4
Can't make a guess at the Name, yet.

Looks like that section (meaning the section with a 2 above it says) says
1933
1 June
Down Union
RD

I don't think it says Donaghadee. Looking at the last part I see 'patrick' although the writing is dreadful. As well as that, there was no Workhouse in Donaghadee. County Down ones were Banbridge, Downpatrick, Kilkeel, Newry and Newtownards-

Thanks, Aghadowey ~ of course you're right ! I made a pig's ear of the third line, and realised it only after I had sent the post. Wonderful hindsight ! The reg. district HAD to be Downpatrick.

I am getting quite confused here. I thought the RD was Down Union but was referred to one of Ahgadowey's posts on the duplicate thread which also had Down Union so not sure if/why I was incorrect?
Based on the two replies the RD was Down Union. Though as I said I have been confused both by the two threads and the referral of my reply to a reply on another thread when they appear to say the same thing.
So would the townland be Downpatrick and the registration district Down Union?

Downpatrick doesn't seem to be a townland-

Down Union is the RD and Downpatrick is the Electoral Division? And the site of the Workhouse with the scrawly signatured occupier?
