I have to apologise for the quality of the attached clip but it's all I have and I can't improve it.
I am trying to decipher the usual residences of John Cameron in Leith & Margaret Falconer in Elgin.
I appreciate the Leith address may be impossible as it doesn't look complete to me.
As always, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I think the second one is Albany Street
Can't be Albany Street if it was in Elgin !

The Leith one is beyond me. I still can;t read it after getting the cert!
Hopefully a better version for someone to work on.

I know Leith fairly well but cannot for the life of me make this one out.
Can I ask the year of registration and the district of Leith which may help.

1884, Dorrie.

On Gadget's improved version, I keep seeing it start with "Princ". Could it be Princess Street?

I think the district is South Leith

Looks like Primrose Street, Leith, to me. It's still there, or was; it's shown on my 1995 street map.

Searching public member trees on Ancestry I discovered one member had John's address as 31 Primrose Street and Margaret's as 14 Gilman Street Edinburgh.
Both were born and resided in Elgin to just before the marriage and I assumed Margaret's address was in Elgin but looking at it now I think it's Edin, abbreviated for Edinburgh.
As usual I want to say thanks to all for the efforts - much appreciated as always!

Hi James yes John's address was 31 Primrose Street, Leith.
In the 1881 Census he was a boarder at this address. Living with his married sister Eliza/Elizabeth Munro.
Primrose Street was demolished in the late 1960's early 1970's to make way for the houses you will see today.

Thanks for that final piece of information - that puts it beyond doubt for that address and I'm really pleased to have been successful again with my request!
