Title: Jarman 1930ish Wales. Can anyone restore please?
Post by: Lyndon on Saturday 23 July 22 22:19 BST (UK)
The lady in this picture is a Jarman from the Welsh valleys around 1930. It's the only photograph I have of her so would be grateful for any improvements.

Many thanks to all who contributed. I'm spoilt for choice. The different versions are so useful. I'm probably going to use at least three of them, so I can choose my favourite of each person separately, and my favourite of the two together. But you have all succeeded in turning a very dark silhouette into a real person, and I value that a lot. Thanks.
