Title: Combining Accounts

I have this week created a new account - but in my memory (from a long time again) have had a previous account. I see from the Posts, the account was named Paper_Chase. The email no long exists.

Can this old account be 'combined / absorbed' into my new account

Hi it is easier to update your old profile with your new address and delete your new profile as it has not been used apart from this one post.

Thank you Sarah. I agree, that your solution is the easier - but (and in life there is often a but)

I  try to log onto the old account - using forgotten password (there is no way I can recall the password from over a decade ago) and it says it will send an email to the old email address (which is not operational). Thus I do not receive the link to reset the password on the old account - and thus cannot update the email address.

All you need to do is give us a link to your old profile.

So go to one of your old posts and click on your old username, then post a link to that page.
