Title: William Breeze
Post by: Yorkie2 on Thursday 07 July 22 12:51 BST (UK)
I hope someone can help me. I am trying to find the parents of William Breeze, born 1830/1, in Ellingham. Norfolk.  I do not know date of death. He was married in Terrington ST Clement, Norfolk, on 22nd November 1855. He married Elizabeth Langley, she was born 1828. Any help would be much appreciated.

There is a tree on FS which names his parents as William Breeze & Sara Brand

Hi Annette, thank you for the information. I do not have the Marriage certificate for William Breeze, I found the marriage date on either Ancestry, Findmypast, or familysearch. It gave grooms father as John Breeze, and brides father as John Langley. I found a cousin of mine has done his side of the tree, he gives William's father as William Breeze, and mother as Sara Brand ? I tried looking this up, but only one that I could see that matched was from Ireland and had people in the States ? It doesn't help when there are so many of the same name, and all in the same area ! Thanks again Yorkie2

The Marriage of William/Elizabeth is on FreeREG 22 Nov 1855
Williams Father John, Labourer (deceased)
Elizabeths Father John a Bricklayer

On the bapts of John/Marys children he is a Farmer

Its also looks like Mary BARRETT was buried 1834 age 27
(she was very young when married)

Henry remarried 26 Jun 1837 to Sarah LONG, both widowed

1841 the Breeze boys are living nearby to Henry under Bruze (have added correction)

Hi Trish, thanks for that. I know at the time, they would spend part of the year farming, then when things were slow on the farm, they would be in the building trade. It looks like I was following the wrong William Breeze ! So William's parents were John Breeze, and Mary Breeze(nee Barrett)
Who then is Henry ? I get so confused, sorry. Once again thanks for the help.

Thanks for that, all this dying and remarrying ! Haha. I now have to find when/where John Breeze died. When/where he was married to Mary Ashman, and if they had any other children apart from William Breeze. Thank you again for your help
