Until Slyvia posts more info other than just a name we don't have anything to go on.

Your own reply is confusing as you mention William Jeynes from Twyning - but then ask where Charles W originated from?  What is your connection between those 2 names?

Neither post gives any birthyears or any other info so any speculation would be a waste of time until more info is given

Found the man in question:

1. He didn't have a second initial 'W' - was born plain Charles Jeynes, Jun.qtr.1864 Westbury on Severn, mmn Roberts.   He was actually born in East Dean, son of Thomas and Jane (nee Roberts). Apart from birth entry everything else regarding family name is as Jaynes.

2. Charles Jaynes married Charlotte Gainey, widow, dau. of Henry Merriman on 18/10/1885 Drybrook.

3. They were in Eglwysilan (Pontypridd) by 1891.

4. He died as Charles Jaynes in 1931 Pontypridd.

Thank you Annette
I will now have to sort myself out as I have been confusing Charles W with plain Charles
they have both ended up in Pontypridd

There is only the one Charles Jeynes/Jaynes who ended up in Pontypridd and that's the one I detailed.

Unless you can give us some more details we just can't help you.
