I've been trying to research my Collins family for some time now but am just hitting brick walls.
So my Gt Grandad was Henry Collins who was born in Luton Bedfordshire in 1905, his parents were both from Loughborough.
I have a dna match with Henry Collins (born Loughborough 1849, died 1878) but not his wife Louisa Parrott, so am not sure if she is right, any help greatly appreciated.

Could he be Harry Collins with parents Charles Henry and Florence?

Charles was the son of Louisa - 1881 census

Hi yes I think it might be.

I hope it is him.
If you need further help or searches just let us know. I’m not sure what you mean re the DNA match.

I would love some more help if that's okay, thank you :)
Well I have a DNA match with Henry Collins but none with his wife.

From https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/Login.asp
It is free but you register and then search. It is useful as it shows mother’s maiden name.
Harry Collins 1904 mmn Smith
You have 1911
1901 2977/134/7
Florrie Collins 26 yrs
William 2 yrs
No Charles with them
Birth of William shows mmn Smith
Charles and Florry were married in Yorkshire - 1897, Halifax
You have Charles with mother Louisa in 1881
Charles Henry 1875 mmn Parrot
Henry Collins died 1878, Loughborough.
Presumably you have a match with a descendant of Henry. Can you or the match trace back to the family? I still don’t understand why you say you don’t match Louisa. Do you mean that there are no Parrot names in the various trees/matches?
