Can i find out if my relative did National Service?

I suspect any such records would still be with the MoD - just WW2 records.  Is this the relative who is the subject of your 2 previous posts & is thought to still be alive??

yes, and not sure if he is still alive or not

Even if any records exist - you would not be given access whilst he is still alive.

You have to supply a copy of a Death Certificate.
