Anything to do with this McPhee photo on Restoration board?

Usually the best way to get old family photos is to trace all possible descendants to see if any survive.

Hi and thanks for responding
Yes it is and I am struggling to identify each of them, I have some photos but they are when they are older and would really like to identify them.
I can tell that at least 4 of them have the family likeness but need to know more if possible.
regards
Ian

If you put scans of the four photos up on the original thread, we may be able to match them - or at least give some reasonable guesses.

Hi Ian,
I believe Rebecca left Hull and ended up in Wick, Caithness with my grandfather's father William McPhee. They had at least one child, William born 1907 who was sent to Canada aged 9 when Rebecca died.
William returned to the UK and eventually Scunthorpe until his death in 1988.
I was raised in Caithness and somehow ended up living in Scunthorpe, standing in a pub with a complete stranger chatting about Caithness and it's William's grandson.
There are a number of 'us' in Scunthorpe.
I hope this helps
Ed
