Waimea Plains Railway opening Gore 1880.
In the 1880's my great grandparents and their family were regular users of this railway between Gore and Balfour in Northern Southland, New Zealand.
They were farmers at Longridge Nth, Balfour until the early 1900's.
My great grand father James Glennie is buried in the Balfour cemetery.
Might it be possible for a skilled person person to clean up or otherwise enhance this image please?
Any assistance would be much appreciated and valued.

thanks japeflakes, waited for the tv adverts and cloned for about 4 minutes ... so multiply that by 50 or so ... not a lot of thought needed, just plodding. Anyone who can add more detail, especially to the folks nearest the camera, feel free to use my version and save your fingers from cramping
cheers, Ian

Well done, Ian :)

thanks folks,
off to find a lost mouse for Casper as he's in the huff with me for catching his mouse by the tail and putting it out on the patio and it dived under some slabs .... Casper keeps coming back into the dining room and sniffing at the last place the mouse was even though he saw me take it outside.
How do you explain that to a cat,
cheers, Ian

Any idea what caused the markings - water or ???
I've not seen anything like them before.
Add - maybe a double negative ?

No idea what so ever what caused the damage.
