I am researching Margaret Mildred Warburton, b 1892 in Warwickshire. This is the name she was married by, but the censuses from 1901 onwards show her living with Dr Shea and his family, with the words 'adopted child' printed by Margaret's name. Can anyone find the record of her birth/ parents Her married surname was Davies
Thank you for any help or suggestions

Thank you all. At least I now have a clue as to why she was adopted. I shall try to find Thomas's death certificate -but am very grateful for all this help.
