Title: David Ramsay of Dysart Born circa 1587

Hi there I'm looking for the father of  David Ramsay Born circa 1587 in Dysart. His Mother is Margaret Douglas Born 1567 in Dunfermline. I cannot find any trace of the father although he must be a Ramsay because of the last name. Additionally David Was marred to Kathrein Inglis born 1591 also of Dysart and they had son  James Ramsay Born 1619 in Kinghorn the earlier part of the tree I am OK with. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance

Birth, Marriage and some death records begin 1582 in Dysart.
In Dunfermline Births & marriages 1561, some deaths later. 

Sadly no records for the names and dates you mention, except David’s son below.
How do you know that David’s mother was  Margaret Douglas?

Thanks for looking Colin. I believe that I got back as far as David 1587 fairly reliably. When I looked for parents the only match I could find  was Margaret but I’m not sure this is correct.
