Hi ,
Could someone please help me by looking up Dundee's own 4th Black Watch the 1914 / 15 star .
i was looking up for William Durward 18 Nelson Street service number 42394 M.G.C
in browser and this came up belonging Facebook. BUT >:( I am not on Facebook so can't see it .
It's just to see what it said about him

I've had a look but your man doesn't seem to be listed amongst those covered. That said the site owner does state that the whole thing is a "work in progress".

FORD- DURWARD - At 18 Nelson Street, Dundee, on 1st January, by Rev. Alex Duffey, Private David Ford, Black Watch, to Bella, third daughter of Mrs Durward (American and Canadian papers please copy).

He was a private in the Royal Highlanders (= Black Watch), service number 2103, then a lance corporal in the Machine Gun Corps, service number 42394.
He qualified for the 1915 star by landing in France/Flanders on 24th February 1915.
