They are also on the 1939 register and Nathaniel Johns date of birth is 21 October 1876

This sounds like them,natty mum was eve Stevens and married to James Smith and eve Stevens mum was eve Lock so I was told ,James qnd eve had several children gildroy, Nathaniel being two of them ,I don't have any dob for any of these people but I did find some old paper clippings of Nathaniel smith and jerhimia johns being fined for keeping horses on high way ,

I always thought Nathaniel johns and rhoda smith was Nathaniel johns "smith parents but someone said they have his mother as Stevens but I'm not sure as I was always told rhoda was born Martley workhouse and mother of Nathaniel.

I think the best thing you can do is get a copy of the marriage for Nathaniel and Charlotte to see what is says regarding father and witnesses.
Also the birth for Nathaniel Johns 1876 will also give you his parents names
If you are tracing family it is always best to check out the original certificates first

Nathaniel smith 1908 1991
My interest is in Nathaniel smith 1908 1991 and I'm trying to find his wife and children ,I believe they had 11 kids William, Herbert, amose and the rest was girls so I was told .Nathaniel died in Hereford and berried at Hereford crem 1991 .
I was told Stevens and lock was also in this family but I'm not sure about them so best to stick with Nathaniel 1908 birth and go from there .I'm sorry for mix up but I really don't have much to go on other than what others say

If you have access to Ancestry you can find Nathaniel Smith born 1908 on the 1939 register ..And again be careful copying from trees on Ancestry best to check out the records yourself ..
