Hello, I need a little help with the above being my 3rd great grandparents. (Chesterfield, Derby) They had Mary Ann Kelly who married a William j Olrog (my 2nd great grandparents).
My question is - Is there more than one Patrick Kelly living in Chesterfield at this time as i have conflicting certs. Some say Patrick was a Tailor and some say beer house keeper of 'the hour glass'
The 1861c has him as a beer house keeper and his father in law & mother in law both living with him & Hannah but im just not sure it all tallies up? Please see attached and use link to my tree.

Hi,
Your connection does not work, and not sure what you mean by conflicting certificates.
When he marries Hannah Turner 8.9.1850 Chesterfield he is a Labourer.
If you follow them through the various census he is listed as either Labourer or Beer House Keeper.
What certificate do you have which states Tailor?

John Olrog, the father, was from Hanover, Germany - a sugar baker/sugar boiler by trade. Earliest I have is the bpt of a daughter in Liverpool 1835, then in Liverpool 1841 census.
1842 bpt of a son in East End of London; 1851, 1861 census in London; then marriages of 3 sons 1873-75, including James.
