Hello.
Various documents show Michael Horton BUSBY to have been born 1803, at Chesham, Buckinghamshire, but, I have been unable to find any record of his birth/baptism/christening.
Some years ago, at my local LDS family history facility, I web through multiple parish registers, for about ten years either side of 1803, for and around hesham, but, I was unable to find any reference to him.
For over 40 years, I have been unable to find any information of his birth, thence, his parents, and, any siblings he may have had; only a possibility, involving Thomas Busby, who married Sarah Horton, and had a son named Joseph Horton Busby.
But, apart from that being possible and likely, I have not found and record that shows a definite link.
I am wondering whether anyone who reads this, has any knowledge of these people, or, knows how to find the record(s) applicable to the birth of Michael Horton Busby.
At the wedding of Michael Horton Busby, to Louisa Rose, the witnesses did not include anyone with the family name Busby; only the family name Rose - probably Louisa's parents. So, from that, I assume that none of the family of Michael Horton Busby, attended his wedding.
If someone could help me to find the information of the birth of Michael Horton Busby; the applicable birth/baptism/christening records, it would be good.
Thank you in anticipation.

Have you found a connection between Thomas Horton Busby married Mary Ann Collett 1835 St Martin in The Fields
He was also a Blind Maker on 1841 census. Not born in County
Unfortunately he dies April 1845 age 34 (born circa 1811)
-------------
Then there is William Horton Busby married Sarah Elizabeth Sherwin 1839 St Mark Kennington
His occupation is carpenter. He gives father as Thomas.
1841 census Lambeth not born in county
---------------------
The Joseph Horton Busby mentioned also moves to London/Middlesex and marries Mary Ann Ford 1843
He dies 1855 age 54 registered City of London
He was baptized at Hartwell - on census says born Stone. Hartwell is now part of Stone.
------------
Are there wills in Buckinghamshire for Thomas Busby who appears to be the father of Joseph, Michael, Thomas and William and possibly more children?

Does Michael's death record in 1877 in New Zealand not give any details of his parents?

John
No - NZ BDM index search shows
1877/702 Busby Michael Horton 74Y
and the death certificate that I got, about 50 years ago, did not show parents' names

Other than the commonality of the middle name Horton, between Michael Horton Busby and the other people with the Horton middle name and the Busby family name, and, the proximity, I have not found any connection.
I do not know of a will of Thomas Busby who married Sarah Horton.

I cannot find a marriage between a Thomas Busby and Sarah Horton.
Thomas Busby married Sarah Bettle 17 October 1797 at Lavendon.
Is it possible that a man name Horton married into the family, did not have children and they hoped to inherit.
It happened in my family 250 years ago, turns out he was an uncle by marriage of my ancestor, they had children but none survived.
ADDED
Have you tried the apprenticeship indexes for Buckinghamshire?

Find My Past parish baptisms coverage for Chesham ends at 1794: https://www.findmypast.co.uk/articles/buckinghamshire-index-parish-list
Source: These sets of indexes are from the Buckinghamshire Archives.
You could always reach out to the Bucks FHS, as they might have better Chesham baptism coverage for the period you are interested in.

If they had a free online index search facility, so that, if and when, a search finds the presence of a record, the user can then pay to obtain a copy of the record, that would be more appropriate than to simply pay them to do what I have already done - I had spent many hours, searching through microfiches, searching for the record that I could not find.
The web page, to which, the above, links, shows no evidence of the record.
If I could find the record, in a free online search, I would rapidly pay to obtain a copy of it. But, the above linked web page does not show any evidence that they have access to the record, that I have been trying decades to find.

I am researching the Busby family of Sherington. Thomas and Sarah did not have a son Joseph. Father Thomas made a will 2 December 1813 and proved 4 January 1814, in which he mentions his three children, Mary Ann having died in 1805. He refers also to his father William and brother James but not Sarah his wife. Thomas appoints John Adkins, Thos Gent and Richard Humphreys joint executors and guardians of his children during their minorities.
Sherington records can be found on this site: http://www.mkheritage.org.uk/shhs/baptismsvol4.htm
