Hi to all in the forum
Looking for ideas and any advice - I've located a Public Accessible record in the UK (I'm living abroad) I'm interested in - but it is not available online - and its only available to view in person in the UK - I am unable to travel to the UK to access it...are there any services where you can task someone to physically go in and take a note of the record on my behalf ?
Thankyou !

What (type) of record is it?
And where would it be accessible? One particular location, or several different locations?

Hi Pauline
Its an Electoral record only located at the Devon Heritage Centre.
Unfortunately not available online - only viewable in person.
Thanks

Do the Devon Heritage Centre themselves not offer a research service? Or the Devon Family History Group?

Hello Pheno
I did ask that question to the South West Heritage Group previously...and they answered I had to go in person..however Ive had another look at their website and it does suggest that they offer such services - so have sent an email with another query about it to them again just now - maybe it was stopped due to Covid...so lets see if they respond.

Just to update this -
I was recently able to obtain the record from Devon Heritage Centre research service - it is back up and running !

Thats good. Most family history groups offer that kind of service.

Have you tried Familysearch, they have many Electoral registers online
