Title: FTM 2019 Help please
Post by: JackieQLD-au on Monday 02 May 22 08:23 BST (UK)
Hi All,
I'm hoping someone can assist me.
I've searched high and low on FTM 2019 but for the life of me, I can't find how to show a shared fact from MARRIAGE to RELATIONSHIP or PARTNER.....
Even if I type it in as an actual added fact, the list on the right always says MARRIAGE.
I'm sure I've done this before with an older version but I do want it on the list on the right to say RELATIONSHIP.

If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.

At the bottom of the side panel, under the BMD information, you will find a box that says "Customize View".  You will find what you need in the "Shared facts:" window.

Update.  From the "People" view you can also click on Edit > Manage Facts

UK4753,
Thanks for that but it's not working how I need it to.

I have a lady who had a relationship, then 10 years later she married another man.

I can have both Marriage and Relationship together filling out the boxes or alternatively Relationship or Marriage for both "spouses".
However, above the white boxes to fill out it says (and this is what I want to change) marriage to.....
I want that little box to say Marriage to ...name.... or Relationship to ...name...
I hope I'm making sense

Can't you make a New Custom Fact with the wording you want?  That option is at the lower left hand corner of the Customize View window.

Yes, I did that but it didn't do what I needed it to do (as per above).

Go into relationships. Click on the relevant person. The panel on the right allows you to alter the relationship (Spouse, partner etc.)
