Lucy Slade was born in 1854 at Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, she married Henry How in 1874 at Watford, she was widowed in 1876 & then married Francis John Reeves in 1877 at Watford, she was widowed in 1901.
Lucy & Francis had two sons, Francis J Reeves 1887 & John Reeves 1894.
I have found her in the 1921 census as a lodger living in St Albans, but cannot find a marriage or a record of her death, also optimistically checked the 1939 register without any success.
Would welcome any suggestions, before I accept that she’s vanished!

Who was she lodging with in 1921. Did she have an occupation
-
Thank you for your reply Rosie. I have a copy of the transcript, but it does not show her occupation or the head of house.
-
What was the address
-
I have just had another look, it was a boarding house & she lived on her own account.
The address was 37 Holywell Hill, St Albans.
-
There is a widowed Lucy 'Slade' in St Albans in 1939, could that be her
-

Wow! A huge thank you Rosie 💐 I didn’t find her on the 1939 register, but will now find the entry and did not anticipate her reaching such a grand age, she was fortunate to have survived her childhood.
I’m really grateful to you for all your help, it is so appreciated.

I am pleased that I was able to help. :)
I can't see that Lucy Slade in 1921 so it is likely it is her.
-
Have just checked the 1939 Register and agree that it looks to be her 😊
-
That is good :)
I wonder whether she was a lodger or otherwise, her occupation is the same as that given to married women ???
-
That’s strange 🤔 Exactly the same as the married woman listed below her...
