The Worcestershire Chronicle, 11 Sep 1839, has an article about the sale of Copyhold Building Land in Redditch "under the will of the late Mr John Peakman".

"Peakman Street
LOT 20 - A piece of Copyhold Building land, containing at the south end fronting a new laid out street, intended to be called Peakman Street, 10 yards; ..."

Possibility?

Thank so much, I had missed that!

Very interesting  and I’m sure that must be correct. My problem now is which John Peakman . The ones in my tree do not have death dates around that time.

Back to the drawing board,

Thanks again
