Title: Second World War - professional researcher sought
Post by: sugartea on Friday 08 April 22 00:43 BST (UK)
Hi everyone. I'm wondering if anyone might be able to recommend the services of a really good, specialist researcher who would be able to look into my grandfather's service record and produce a good narrative account? I work a full-time job and have a young family, and am being honest with myself that with the best will in the world, I'm not going to have the time to do a proper job of it myself. If anyone has any recommendations, I would be most grateful. Thank you. :)

Is this for the UK?   The MOD hold service records which can be applied for; cost £30.  I think a researcher would need these as a base to start from.

You apply for the records here.

As you see you do need to provide their death certificate.
