I think I have just found the answer - enlarging the screen revealed boxes saying they were as yet unknown. Perhaps I found out my parents' group using one of the other companies.

This is probably a very silly question but is it possible to find out the haplogroups from an FTDNA Family Finder test?
The matches have just been generated for a test I am managing for a male (non blood) relative and I would find it helpful to know.
I don't remember having the same problem working out my haplogroups using my parents' tests!
