I am looking for the parents of Sarah Waters born around 1796 in Heage.
Sarah married William Hall on 21 November 1814 in Heanor. The marriage banns state that Sarah was a resident of the parish of Dale and William resident of Heanor. William was born in Denby and baptised on 5 June 1792, Denby son of Jonathan and Elizabeth Hall.
Incidentally, where is the parish of Dale? Not convinced it is Darley Dale.
in the various pieces of census information 1851 and 1861 Sarah states her birthplace as Heage. Using census material as a rough guide I estimate she was born around 1796.
Can anyone help with finding Sarah's parents please?
Thank you, marp

You may struggle to locate her baptism record. Ancestry and FindMyPast's parish baptism coverage for Heage don't start until 1819. This looks to be the case for Family Search, as well.
If it helps with other searches, here is FindMyPast's Derbsyhire Parish List with BMB coverage:

Perhaps she was baptised in Belper? Baptism records for Belper begin 1676.

I looked for Bapts of Williams/Sarahs children to see if any clues for her Parents names;
They were bapt Denby;

John 1823
Sally 1826
William 1829
Mary Ann 1832

I did notice in 1841 Martha the daughter is living nearby.
She appears to have a illeg birth reg for her Son Herbert 1838
FreeREG has the Marriage of Martha 1839 (Father as William Hale!)

Many thanks for the two very quick responses to my query. I was aware that the Heage records did not begin until 1819. However, thank you Hillhurst for your suggestion that I search neighbouring parish records in FindmyPast Derbyshire parishes and provision of the link. I will do a search for parishes around Heage. I believe that the parish of Dale which is listed on the marriage banns may be Dale Abbey so I will also try to find something there.
Thank you trish1120 for looking at Sarah and William Hall's children. I have good records of their children. One intriguing person in that list is Herbert Hall the illig. child of Martha. Herbert Hall was a coal miner and emigrated to Pennsylvania, USA to work as a miner there. He sent a red velvet covered small bible as a gift to the child of Joseph Hall (Martha's brother) although nothing seems to have been heard of him after that.
My brick wall is finding Sarah Water's birthplace, birth year and her parents.
Thank you again,
marp

Thank you so much Designer Jeans and Brentnor Boy for your work on the Duffield records. The dates seem to fit Sarah Walters and I have been searching for her for some time now,
Thank you again, much appreciated.
