Hi all,
Has anybody been having problems displaying family trees in Ancestry recently? It's been like this for a few days now - see attachment - basically a grey and white box covering every and everything then freezes.
I've updated chrome and cleared my browsing data but the problem persists! Never had a problem before - very strange.
Does anyone know how to fix it?!

Hi
No problems for me. Possibly the browser. Maybe try it with Firefox.
Gadget
(will try chrome on other computer and report back!)

No problem with Ancestry for me either and was just on it a couple of minutes ago.

Just tried with chrome and it works on that too.

Something very similar happened to me last week the first time I logged in and found the new 'design'on the family tree screen with that white box across the centre
I tried several things like refreshing, logging in again etc which didn't work. However, I did scroll the screen as far to the right as it would go and in that white box further along there seems to be a dialog box (about the new layout). I could only get the very edge of it to show and it looked like there was a button to click. I could only see two letters at the start of the word on the button and gambled it was the word 'NEXT' so I clicked it and that solved it.
I think I was using Brave at the time which is chrome based so see what happens when you scroll to the right.

Thanks everyone, I think it was a glitch related to the new layout. So similar to Corley's comment above....
What I should have tried beforehand was looking at a different tree, in this case my partner's - it then took me through the new layout options on that tree and when I went back into 'my' tree it was fine. Very odd!
Well hopefully this will help if anyone has the same issue!

Yes, I got something similar. It was my first time with the layout revisions and the site threw on some "Here's how to use the new options..." pop up windows. But they positioned it incorrectly off the screen and it wouldn't let me click on anything.
Not sure what I did to get it working again - either refreshing the page or zooming out - but managed to click on the "Next..." button on the pop up window and that allowed me to take control again.
Still getting used to the new fonts.
Edit: Forgot to say this was the desktop version using Firefox.
