Title: Photographer in Chatham, also Johnson
Post by: RobinBClay on Monday 21 February 22 00:34 GMT (UK)
I have found an old photograph that bears the photographer's rubber stamp - I would like an approximate date for it, please ?  When was this studio operational ?
E.A. Low
21 Highview Drive
Davis Estate

I think that is in Chatham, and close to Bluebell Hill (hence the name of the telephone exchange)

I couldn't find anything useful online, the earliest photos that I have on Velox paper are from the 1950s so it might be easier if you posted the photo.

Thank you !
Maybe he was not the photographer, but just the person who printed out the pix.

The address is a private house.

The 1939 Register has Edward A Lowe there (21 High View, New Horsted) - a Royal Navy chief mechanician: https://www.ancestry.co.uk/discoveryui-content/view/16142658:61596

He appears in the 1950 and 1951 phone books at 21 High View Drive https://www.ancestry.co.uk/imageviewer/collections/1025/images/bt_900848_box113_1950_feb_001-01437
