My sister and I have recently inherited a stack of family papers and photographs, amongst which are 6 photo's depicting soldiers, we believe from WW1. I've searched google to see if I can find any information and believe this first photo may depict a member of the Kings Liverpool Regiment - can anybody confirm this or point me in the right direction? I hope its ok to also post some of the other photo's, but not sure whether to start a new topic for each or to attach them to this one.

Cap badge is from West Yorkshire Regiment.
(I think!)

Thank you. That was one of the ones that came up when I googled, but on the pictures I found it looked as if the horse on that badge was galloping and I discounted it. This horse looks more as if its rearing, but I'm probably guilty of 'fitting the evidence to what I know'! I'll do a bit more research.
Thanks again.

Thanks everybody - I'll search military records and see if I can find a family member that fits. I knew it wasn't one of my Grans brothers - we know they were in the Royal Garrison Artillery and the Grenadier Guards (possibly transferring to the Household Cavalry), but there were many cousins as well!
