Could anyone expert in deciphering/identifying job names in the 1841 census identify the job name given to 14yo James Jones living with his widowed mother (my gt gt gt grandmother Margaret nee Thomas) and 2 sisters in Hafod Village/St John, Swansea. The description appears to be a generic "Coppar" [sic] but would appreciate other opinions. The ref. is HO107/1424/4; District 102(http://)..https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/8979/images/GLAHO107_1423_1424-0236?pId=14222689
In anticipation, many thanks
John

It does just say "coppar". Looking at the other people on the pages round about, some say "Coppar", some "Copperman", some "Copparm" and some "Copparwoman". Age seems to have no relevance as to whether you are described as "Coppar" or "Copparman".
