Hi all i find myself needing yet again some help on my family,I have come to a stop as I can't find these people after the 1901 census I think they may have emigrated but I'm not sure where to look.The people who I am looking for are James kennedy hogarth born 1868,Catherine s hogarth, and their son Gerald born 1893 all in Newcastle-upon-Tyne they are in walker according to 1901 census then they just dissappear please help many thanks in advance

These 2 are not the children of James and Catherine but of a George Frederick Hogarth who married an Alice Cuthbertson in Sept.qtr.1904 Gateshead. All 4 together in 1911.

For interest, in case you don't have this information already - James Kennedy HOGARTH of 86 Addison St, Heaton took out a patent on an adjustable finger rest for the concertina in 1890.
Still looking for them after 1901 ...

Did they move to Africa? there is a death for a Catherine Streffon HOGARTH in Zimbabwe in 1934 aged 60. Widowed, one child, born England. :-\
Also a Gerald HOGARTH a driver in the British South Africa Police 1916-17
Modified: Death in Zimbabwe also says 1 sister in England.
And I see a Catherine Straffen CUTHBERTSON birth registered Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1874. :)

Trying to find when they left the UK. there are a few possibilites - here are some:
There is this Mr HOGARTH, engineer, travelling in 1924 to South Africa, though the age is a bit out.
