Title: OXF Baptism Lookup: Woodbridge @ Little Milton
Post by: genboy on Sunday 13 February 22 04:56 GMT (UK)
Baptism lookup pls, of Ann Maria Woodbridge b1790 @Little Milton area. Also listed as "Maria" in later Censuses.
Listed consistently as being born c.1790 in the Little Milton area, so could be also baptised in Great Milton, Great Haseley etc.  OXF-FHS lists these as the Thame region.
Any help would be gratefully accepted thankyou
Scott

Hi Scott,

Does this entry help;
Gt.Milton;
14-12-1794 Mary Anne Woodbridge (d/o John & Mary)

If you have a sub with Anc...y the original is available to view.

Thanks for that. Close but I think but not quite the same, a little young and 1814 Marriage to John Doggett was "Ann Maria Woodbridge".  But its still the best bet so far, but I'll keep looking.
thanks again

Her marriage was at Sarratt in Hertfordshire, where do you have her in census.

ADDED
Answered my own question - 1851 Rickmansworth age 61 bn Little Milton.  Jonathan is 59 so her age could be out if she did not want to appear a lot older than him

Yeah note the name change/preference over time. Was "Maria" in later 1841 (50yo), 1851 (61yo) , 1861 (71yo) Censuses and 1863 Death (74yo). But randomly Maria for son John's 1818 Baptism.
But ages consistent over time.
I'm presently grouping the available Woodbridge families at Little Milton c.1790 to try to find where she fits in, if baptism is missing/not obvious eg baptised a while after birth.
