Title: A pocket watch

Hi all! Was just wondering if anyone knows what these specific parts of a pocket watch are called and if anyone by pure luck recognises this design from a blurry photo. Its dated around 1910 and worn by a miner.

It is the watch chain or fob to stop you losing the watch and to enable you to pull it out of the watch pocket in your waistcoat. "Fob" is also used for any decorative (sometimes useful) item hanging from the chain. The fob hanging from the chain here might be purely decorative or might represent some society or the like which he belonged to.

Yes all the above .
The fobs were often of badges of societies, not likely The Masons for a miner but simple things like the local Pigeon Breeders’/ Racers’s clubs.
Temperance Societies etc.

The chain is an Albert T-Bar chain.

The one in the photo looks like a thistle or thistle-esque.
