Could sks please age this photo . Our family immigrated to the states from England from 1880 . This lady is amongst the family collection of photos but she and the dog are unknown. Thank you . Fred

I concur.

I don't believe those types of wristwatches became more publicly available until at least the 30s perhaps a bit later. The photograph is certainly no older than 1900 and the blouse to me looks more 1920s, perhaps 30s. Less austere than the 1910s and prewar dress.

I must admit that my first impression was 1940s. She is married as she is wearing a wedding ring.

Hi , we now have studied the photo . It is in postcard form and with a magnifying glass we see the name W. Davies . Lower Norwood . The family immigrated to the States between 1910-15 from NORWOOD . We know they corresponded with people in Norwood and remained lifetime friends so we are now thinking it might be Marjorie Goodfellow of Hindsley Place . Norwood . We will follow up looking through family letters . Thank you for your help . I will let you know what we find . Bye Fred .
