Hello, hoping someone can help.
I am looking for William Dale . According to 1851 census born 1802-1806 in north Newington and living in Broughton.
I am unable to find his parents and would be grateful for any help
Many thanks
Alison

Did he get married?
If so his fathers name should be on the marriage certificate to give you a starting point.

thank you .
I think my William Dale is listed as William Deall who married Mary Pain (Paine) in Stoke Goldington 27 Nov 1832 and on Ancestry it says no image available.

1851 census Piece 1733/Folio 263/Page 32
The GRO site indicates that the MMN for the children was Payne /Pain
and it looks like they married in the brides home parish of Stoke Goldington in 1832 (from a transcription of the BTs) and, as per prior to civil registration, no mention of fathers' names. Its 'possible', though unlikely, that the original register may have named them.
OOPS! sorry Alison, I seem to have repeated the info you have given.
