I found an entry of interest on The National Archives website but needed to pay £8.40 for them to check it so I did a few more searches to make sure I had the right person but when I went back to order a copy TNA said that, due to a high number of enquiries, they had reached their capacity for the day. I've tried for nearly a week now and still get the same response. I've cleared my browser cache, as they advise, but still get the same response. Is it me? Or is anyone else having the same problem?

I had similar a few weeks ago, but clearing my browser cache fixed it for me. Aree you closing and restarting your browser after clearing the cache? If it still doesn't work, try again using your browser's incognito mode (InPrivate mode for Edge I believe, Incognito in Chrome). Using that mode doesn't save browsing data between sessions and may allow you to proceed to the order form. If you still get the same message, try just after they re-open for orders in the morning - after 10 or 11 a.m. I think, from memory.

Thank you for your help Phil57. I tried that but still the same message - will give it a go once TNA re-opens. Many thanks
