Title: Barnahely cemetery - photo request
Post by: suzee01 on Sunday 09 January 22 05:50 GMT (UK)
Hello - I was informed a few years ago that there was a monument erected for Thomas Punch, master mariner. He drowned in Milford Haven, Wales but was buried in the cemetery near where his family lived Ringaskiddy/Barnahely.
I can't find any record of his headstone on Findagrave or Billiongraves although only a small percentage of the headstones have been transcribed for this cemetery.
Would anyone know if there is a headstone still standing for him and if so would they be able to take a photo.
Cheers
Suzanne

It might be worth creating a record on FindAGrave for his burial, and then putting in a photo request through that website. Worked for me in the past!

Maybe you could ask that this thread be moved to the CORK board - a local person might be prepared to have a look?
