Title: Elizabeth Simpson - Barkisland 1823

I have a great great grandmother, Elizabeth Simpson who was born in Barkisland, married in Northowram to Thomas Johnstone. Her father was Joseph Simpson a mason.
She lived in Cumberland, and every census states she was born in Barkisland. She must have been born in 1823 but I can find no information about her birth or family. Her first daughter was named Sarah if that gives aclue. Any help or is this another brick wall?

Could this be a younger brother? Note: Barkisland is 1 mile east of Ripponden. I did a keyword search using "Barkisland" on FindMyPast, and this is record it found.

I have two replies, thank you,  but this confused old lady, who hasn't been on this forum for fifteen years, is having trouble finding out how to answer individual replies.

She was married in Ebeneezer Chapel Halifax. The witnesses were William Parry and John? Scholefield. She gave her address as Orange Court Halifax. It was Thomas Johnstone who was living in Norhowram
I can't find her on 1841 census, but later in life she was a Dressmaker

The date of the marriage was 2nd November 1845

Celtic Mongrel - the October 1829 baptism image for David Simpson is on Ancestry.
Father Joseph's occupation is "mason". Abode: Barkisland. Looking very possible that this is Elizabeth's brother and parents.

Here's the very likely marriage. Image indicates that Groom's occupation is "mason". Joseph and Sarah of Barkisland (of this Parish).
