Hi
   Does anyone have information on the parents of Thomas Lowther ? christened 3rd Oct 1669 . His father is recorded as William Lowther but I have no details on his mother ??.
Is William the one that was born at Ingleton ,Yorks in 1642 and died at Moate in Westmeath , Ireland 1722 ?

PS just realised Cliburn was in the old county of Westmorland but Cumberland has a lot of Lowther connections

Cliburn was in Westmorland.

There is a marriage in Lowther 14 February 1666 between William Lowther and Isabell Stephenson.

Lowther is about 4 miles from Cliburn.
