I have a Mary Wilkins who married a James Sargeant in 1772 Podington. I have her birth about 1746 in Podington. Where I got her birth from I cannot remember but I am wondering if somebody could confirm this and if so who her parents could be. It would be good to break through this brick wall which I hit quite a while back.

There is a baptism at Puddington, Bedfordshire for Mary WILKINS on 5 Dec 1746, parents Richard and Alice.
I note Ancestry has the marriage of Mary WILKINS and James SERJEANT 17 May 1772 at Puddington.

The Podington parish register transcript has marriage on 17 May 1772 of James Sarjeant of Podington, bachelor to Mary Wilkins of Podington, spinster, and also the baptism on 5 Dec 1746 of Mary Wilkins, daughter of Richard & Alice Wilkins.
I have a note saying that his brother John Serjeant of Wymington, bachelor married Rebecca Wilkins of Podington, spinster at Podington on 25 Nov 1770
