Was Dawson her maiden name? If not, what was it?

Her maiden name was Brenkley

According to familysearch she married a Charles Donahue on 4/12/1942 in Repton, Derbyshire. Is this the same person?

Yes but then she emigrated to Southern Rhodesia

I am starting to get a bit confused here. Did she then divorce Donahue and marry "Dawson"? If so where was that? Where die she die - Rhodesia or South Africa?

That's what I'm trying to determine aswell... I'm presuming she made a new life in either Rhodesia or South Africa

She would not have a South African Identity number of she was in Rhodesia.

Her sister moved from Rhodesia to South Africa when Rhodesia changed to Zimbabwe

What was her sister's name, and where did she live in South Africa?

Just seen previous posts by yourself in which you say she possibly married a Jackson. Where does Dawson fit into the picture?

On the 1939 register there's an entry for her which says " 'D' posting in name of Daws...." so I'm presuming that she married a guy with the surname Dawson.... now the Jackson name comes from one of her sisters relatives who live in South Africa but we don't know whether that's right or not?
Nellie's sister Lillian Elsie Paul died in 1993 in Pretoria, I have her death information already.

I have done the following with no results:
Masters Portal
Zimbabwe / South African records on familysearch
Eggsa tombstones
The archives - under Jackson, Dawson as well as just Nellie Louisa
Makes me think that she did not die in South Africa.

True
I just don't know where else to look?

If her sister's children think she was a Jackson what other details do they know about her. Would they know where she lived, whether she had children etc.?

We've tried to ask questions time upon time but they're non responsive to us....

Have you looked into Charles Donahue? Maybe his paperwork would show whether their were children from that marriage. Her parents wills / estate files might show other information as well.

I can't find anything on Charles Donahue after their Marriage in 1942.... Nellie's mother died in 1936 when Nellie was 14 and her father Henry was off the scene and started a new family and died in Windsor in 1956 at his sisters house
