Title: Delahunty family
Post by: jue on Tuesday 14 December 21 13:10 GMT (UK)
Hello All , i have asked for this before , a few years ago , but as new information has come to light , i thought i could ask again ?
1901 census , Salford , Lancs.
Patrick Delahunty 34
Annie (wife) 38
James (son) 7 born Salford
James (brother) 38
John (brother & my GT Grandfather )25
Michael (brother) 27
All the boys state birthplace Ireland .....other docs Clonakenny / Templemore

I have my grandfathers marriage cert, which gives his father as John ( domestic coachman ), but i have been looking through online parish records , and both John and Michael give their father's name as Patrick .
They do not appear on the 1891 census for England ,so my guess is they arrived in England between 1891 and 1901.
So i am looking for any information pre 1901 , that shows the family with a father named Patrick.
I do know they had a sister , i do not know her name , but Bridget Delahunty was a witness at Michael's marriage , that may be her ?
Any information much appreciated.
TY :)
