I would appreciate another set(s) of eyes having a look and seeing if they can find Harry William Stanley Slinger after 1937.
He was born in 1896, Bootle and I have him on the 1901 census with his parents and sister https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X92G-1T5 and also on the 1911 census https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XWTZ-FZK
I know he joined the Liverpool Regiment in WW1 before transferring to the RAF.
He married Lilian Hilda Haill in 1931 and had a daughter in 1936.
Electoral rolls show him and Lilian living at Liscarde House, The Gardens, Pinner up to 1937. I have a mention of a partnership being dissolved in 1934 (his partner was Bror Ornolf Fleischer, a Norwegian who naturalised in 1940). Their trading name was "Ralph Plummer", which HWS Slinger seemed to continue to use post-1934
And then - nothing!
HWS Slinger has used his forenames in differing order, but even taking that into consideration I am struggling to find any trace of him (or his wife and daughter!) after 1937. Any further leads would be gratefully received!

What was his occupation when he married or on the childs birth certificate.
Both of the service records that you mention refer to him only as Harry S(tanley) Slinger.
Mentioned in a will in 1927

Is there another daughter born 1933 in Hendon?
-
The contents of Liscarde House were auctioned off in October 1938. Emigration?

I think you might be right - on FreeBMD the MMN is listed as Huill, but I can't see a matching marriage.
-
FindMyPast also shows Huill but GRO shows Haill, you have to put Haill in to get it to show mmn.

Great find, Shaun. Emigration makes sense. Just need to work out where they went!

I don't have any certificates for him as yet, and the only job role I have for him is from 1934 where he is a "Competition Specialist and Solutionist"......which to me sounds like he sets crossword puzzles.....

Thanks Carole! It seems that that member has reached the same brickwall as me!

OK, I am not certain whether I have cracked this or whether I have found a huge number of coincidences and I have jumped to conclusions...........
HWS and Lilian Hilda Slinger had a daughter in 1936. If my theory is correct, this daughter is now deceased, but I would prefer to err on the side of caution! This daughter has a rather unusual first name beginning with M, followed by a middle name also beginning with M. Looking for marriages for her from about 1956, I found quite a few but none with the surname of Slinger.
I then decided to do the same search for the daughter born in 1933 (initials JW) and cross reference the surnames. There was a common surname - Drummond.
Deciding to push my luck, I looked to see if I could see any trace of Lilian Hilda with the surname Drummond - and yes. There was a probate record for a Lilian Hilda Drummond, dying in 1970 and probate in 1971. By pure luck, I noticed that there was another death for a Drummond at the same address as Lilian - one Rex Drummond.
There is a Rex Drummond who appears in the London Gazette several times due to bankruptcy proceedings, with address given as The Glade, Stoneleigh, Epsom. The 1938 electoral roll for Epsom show Rex Drummond and Lilian Hilda Drummond at 60 The Glade, Stoneleigh, Epsom.
Is HWS Slinger AKA Rex Drummond? Or have I put 2 and 2 together and ended up with 9 million?

According to this link Harry Died in Prescot in 1946 :-\

According to several Ancestry trees (I know! not taking this as gospel!) the Harry Slinger who died in 1946, Prescot was born 8th Feb 1895 in Woodhouse Carr, Yorkshire.
-
Just to add both daughters, Myrna and Joyce are deceased.
Harry Slinger had become Rex Drummond and they too had become Drummonds when they married - became Weedon and England. Both appear to have sons still living, born in the sixties.
