Hi
I would like some help in locating James Heath and his wife Mary.
Thomas their son was born in Cookham, Berkshire in 1828. Thomas married Sarah Rixon in 1847 in Bisham.
The only James Heath that I can find was born in Farringdon and his son Thomas was born in Farringdon too.
Thanks for any help.

Heath/Rixon marriage was 1857 not 1847
1861 shows his birthyear as 1833 & 1871/1881 as 1830
Where did you get his mothers name from? Was it a baptismal record?
-
What occupation do he and his father have on the marriage?
I take it this is the 1851 Thomas you found with James & Mary
James Heath 49 brewer
Mary wife 48
Thomas son 23
Sarah dau 20
Mary dau 18
Eliza dau 16
James son 15
Lucy dau 13
Benjamin son 10
Ellen dau 9

Some of the children of the James and Mary HEATH baptised at Faringdon had DREWETT as a second name.
1827 Jun 7 Thomas Drewett s/o James & Mary, brewer
1829 Apr 10 John Rance Drewett s/o ditto died 1845
1830 Jun 25 Sarah Ann d/o ditto
1832 Jul 9 Mary d/o James & Mary, Gent
1834 Nov 17 Eliza Elizabeth d/o James & Mary, brewer
1836 Jan 2 James s/o ditto
1837 Oct 6 Lucy d/o ditto
1839 Jan 19 Francis s/o ditto born 19 Oct 1838 buried Faringdon 29 Jul 1839
1840 Dec 6 Benjamin Drewett s/o ditto
1842 Jan 7 Ellen Drewett d/o ditto
According to a couple of trees on Ancestry the mothers maiden name was DREWETT.
There is a marriage at Chieveley, Berkshire on 24 Apr 1826 of a James HEATH and a Mary DREWETT, which would appear to be the above couple.

Yes that was a typo with the year of marriage. I found the baptism record and noted that the mothers name was Mary

Thank you for all the replies.
I don't think it's the Farringdon family. Thomas was baptised in Cookham and lived his life in Burchetts Green and surrounding area as stated in the census details. The census also shows his birth as Cookham. I was having trouble finding another James and Mary and not from Farringdon.
I have found a Thomas Heath as a servant in 1851 not far from Cookham but the age is different - hard to see on the census and Mary Heath is there too as a nurse. I was thinking that could be the right Thomas but no James. I have also seen a prison record for a James Heath so maybe that's him!!

I don't know as I only have the information that Ancestry give. I will order the marriage certificate and that will hopefully say that his father was a baker!
