Title: NSW birth of Cedric Malcolm MATTHEWS and Betty Irene BAMBER

Currently struggling to find birth certificates for Cedric Malcolm MATTHEWS born 1926 died 1985 to Leonard MATTHEWS and Elma JONES.

Betty Irene BAMBER born 1927 died 2002 to James BAMBER and Doris Irene SEWARD.

We have suspicions Betty was not born that name, and she has a twin or sister or it's possible her birth name, Peggy May BAMBER born 1927.

Cedric and Betty were married in 1945 in Islington

Birth records are closed for 100 years so the latest available is today's date in 1921.

Cedric's birthdate is given in his WW2 service records.

Ancestry.com.au has a family tree for Betty Irene Bamber born 13 Sept 1927 Newcastle but there is no source or certificate attached.
Cedric Malcolm Matthews and Betty were married as you say in 1945 and she is listed as his nok on his service record. So this would be almost at the end of the war and he was 19yrs old, she was 18.
