"During your research you may encounter a reference to the 'Y' List on the cards; this generally relates to individuals posted home (the UK) due to sickness or wounds, reported sick at home or prisoners of war returning home"

Con Depot = Convoy ? Convalescent?

I should think he had been in a different RA Branch before he was on the Y list .Then when he was Discharged from 110 M? ConversionDepot he was posted to 4th Coast Regiment. Looks like he was at 4th HQ Depot while it was decided what to do with him. Then he was posted to70th Coast Training Regiment for training on the Guns. After which he would have been posted to a Coastal Gun Battery.

Thanks for all your help.
Previously from enlistment my father had been with 2nd Coast, 305 Coast Regt RA, & 542 Coast Regt.
After his posting to 70th Coast Training Regt RA he was transferred to Animal Transport Training Centre RASC in Aldershot, where he stayed until he went to CMF (Central Med Force) in December 1945 and returned to the UK in February 1946
