Civil records were introduced in 1864, before then we rely on Church and Land records.
This is what I found.
Denis Dunbar in Tipperary, he had two areas of land, these would be rented from John Lowe Esq.
As there isn't a year stated it would be 1823 ish.

Alice Dunbar was listed in Griffiths Valuation in 1851 in the townland called KNOCKACURRA.
Same Parish, some townland names changed between 1823 and 1860's.
There is a record for a Cornelius Dunbar, born 1783, says he was born in Limerick and looks like an Army War Office record. This was in 1803 he must have joined the Army.
