Does anyone know anything about an adoption in Surrey? 
I am looking for someone possibly adopted in Surrey in 1943.  Date of birth is
October 7.  Born in Warlingham/Redhill/Limpsfield area and Registered as Peter Stuart Pilbeam?

Adoption records are not searchable and restricted to the person who was adopted.
