Just below Annie's 1901 Census entry appears "UM Free Church".
1915 Map

The map shows the "U M Church" in the centre of Murton and very, very close by is the "New Inn".

Margaret Wren was the landlady at 15 Oct 1898 but by 8 Nov 1898 the pub was being advertised "To let, with entry at Martinmas next ...". It was again advertised "To let, with immediate entry ..." on 8 Aug 1903.
Trying to spot "your" Annie sometime between these two dates.

The New Inn at Murton was again being advertised "To let, with immediate entry ..." on 6 Feb 1900

Thank you all for the info.
I am wondering if it was a temporary move, I know her mother Margaret took over the Cross Keys at Hilton not long after. Then when Margaret died, her younger sister, also called Margaret took it over,
